The Rising Melody is a social event focused on songwriters, both vocal and instrumental, and their performance. In its 3rd year, this original music showcase hosted by brother and sister, Bret (Biku) and Jaena Shimabuku, has become the stomping ground for many local songwriters and instrumentalists in the Honolulu scene. With nurturing energy, a value for education, and quality stage and in-house sound, the event aims to enhance the unity, awareness and performance growth of Hawaii’s musicians while creating an enjoyable social atmosphere for mingling and networking.
