With influences ranging from Alabama to Bon Jovi, The River has created a unique sound destined to take these boys straight to the top. Originally formed and based out of Valdosta, GA, The River has evolved into an explosive blend of powerful lead and harmony vocals, musicianship, entertainment, energy, experience and goals. The band’s dedication to music and performing and their “committed” attitude has made “The River” a household name throughout their market area and has begun capturing national attention.
Performing in front of audiences totaling more than one million people at various venues, including countless clubs (many of which the band has set financial and door records), college campuses, corporate events, festivals, concerts, etc., The River has been winning over fans and critics alike throughout the south for years.
Diversity is one word that can be used to describe The River’s live show, which consists of a unique blend of country, pop, and rock. The band promotes a young image, attracting the young audience, while maintaining the professionalism expected by the older audience. Simply put, they strive to attract and entertain audiences of all ages and influences with a “good time”, fun, and high energy performance.
The River is currently in negotiations with the Army National Guard with the opportunity for a music video, movie theatre campaign, and nationally sponsored tour. They are working their way through the ranks of the music industry and are expected to be climbing the charts soon.

I think you should stay with the name "THE RIVER" because that is what gave you all the reputation that you have now. You all do good music, and everybody knows the name that you have now.
I started listening to you all about 4 years ago, and to this day, you all are still my FAVORITE BAND to listen to.
Every time you all come anywhere around so that I can hear you, I am there. You guys do need to consider playing out in the open a little more so that people who don't go to clubs can hear your music!!
