Join the Burning River Roller Girls for our third annual Black and Blue event! It will be held on Friday, November 28th at Unites Skates in Wickliffe from 6 to 11 p.m.
As we have with past Black and Blue events, the Burning River Roller Girls have partnered up with a local organization to help them raise money, and this year we're proud to announce that we will be partnering with the AIDS Task Force of Greater Cleveland!
So what is there to do at Black and Blue 3, you ask?
1. Skate with the Burning River Roller Girls from 6 to 8 p.m. - we promise not to hurt you ;)
2. Watch as the entire league is mixed up and divided into only 2 teams (for those unfamiliar with the Burning River Roller Girls, we have 4 home teams), Team Black and Team Blue to play each other in a full-fledged roller derby bout. Blue won in '06, and Black won in '07.Who will be the victor this year?
3. Check out our Fresh Meat - our newest league skaters! - as they fight each other to be the victor for FULL CONTACT MUSICAL CHAIRS!! There are NO RULES, and there's a cash prize, so it's bound to get crazy!!
4. Listen to LIVE MUSIC from Miss Firecracker!
5. Get educated about safe sex and receive FREE goodies!!
6. Do some holiday shopping at our merchandise!
