The Road is based in Boston and New York City. Now in its seventh year in several incarnations, The Road has established itself as a band of savvy and skill with an ever-growing following and ever-expanding show list. The band's influences are various and wide-ranging, from classical to straight ahead jazz, from funk to electronic alternative. Put together, the band members' talents and musical interests have combined to create a unique and edgy sound, blending rich acoustic harmonies with lush synthesized sounds and complex rhythms with intricate arrangements.
