Robin Hoare is entering a vibrant phase in his career with the release of his new album “A Time and Place”. The album features ten original songs which show a strong vision for his blues. The songs tell it how it is about today’s world from the credit crisis to online gambling addiction. As well as being a contemporary blues story teller, Robin is one of the most distinctive blues guitarists working today. He improvises fluently on his trademark Guild guitars and his live shows feature close interplay between him and gifted bass man Danny Fox. Whether he’s kicking it with his regular trio or a bigger band a Robin Hoare show is a blues feast taking in flavours of funk, jazz and rock. If you’re tired of the same old same old blues this is the man to see. As respected Sheffield journalist Bill Auckland puts it “Robin honours the blues tradition without being a slave to it.” Blues to help you get down not to get you down.*************************************************************
