“THE ROCKER” project was born in 2005 from an idea had by Edo Arlenghi,
singer and Leader of the band.
The name of the band draws on the famous 70’s movie Quadrophenia, where two
well different factions, called Mods and Rockers, fought for their (not just)
musical ideals.
“THE ROCKER”, purposely in the singular, represents the musical soul of its
Former, EDO ARLENGHI, heart and soul of the band.
The band, formed by musicians accomplished in the Italian and international
musical scene, lays before the audience with genuine pieces, respecting the
plain and ill-tempered Rock’n’Roll tradition.
“THE ROCKER” will soon release their brand new album, titled
ITALIAN BASTARDS.
All of their determination, their love for music and the experience they
have been able to get while working with famous names for years, both in
the studio and on stage because of their artistic skills, can be found in
this album.
Edo’s unique and peculiar voice can be defined as the true trade-mark of the
Band.
In fact his voice appears to be able to convey a double polyphonic voice
determined by a fifth natural one: Janis Joplin, Demetrio Stratos.
Il progetto “THE ROCKER” nasce nel 2005 da un idea di Edo Arlenghi, cantante e Leader della band.
Il nome del gruppo prende spunto dal noto film degli anni ’70 Quadrophenia,dove due fazioni ben distinte, i Mods ed i Rockers, lottavano per i loro ideali musicali.
Volutamente al singolare “THE ROCKER” rappresenta l’anima musicale del suo Former EDO ARLENGHI corpo e mente della band.
Il gruppo, formato da musicisti affermati nel panorama musicale Italiano ed Internazionale, si propone al pubblico con brani originali nella pura e sanguigna tradizione Rock n’ Roll.
I “THE ROCKER” a breve pubblicheranno il loro primo lavoro discografico dal titolo ITALIAN BASTARDS.
In esso i quattro musicisti hanno convogliato tutta la loro grinta, l’amore per la musica e l’esperienza di anni passati prestando le loro doti artistiche,sia on stage che in studio, al servizio di nomi noti.
Il vero marchio di fabbrica della Band sta nella particolare voce di Edo che nella sua unicità esprime una doppia voce polifonica determinata da una quinta naturale : Janis Joplin, Demetrio Stratos

It features Syria, a very popular italian artist that fell in love with the recent electro movement, behind the knobs a very young production team from Milan called VIDEO MEMORIA formed by Giulio Calvino and Sergio Maggioni already members of an euro-touring garage-wave band called Hot Gossip.
