We are a 6 Peice, High Energy Band from Northeast Philadelphia. We play everything from Linkin Park to Build me up Butter cup and everything in between.
We like to Meet new friends and talk and party with all of our current friends at our shows. The Rockets are synonymous with the words "Party Band". For well over a decade they have dominated the East Coast club scene.
The Rockets performed multiple times on National Television; VH1, CBS as well as performed the National Anthem for the Flyers, Phillies and 76ers. The notoriety the media has affixed on The Rockets has made them a household name on the East coast.
Rockets 2009 are a 6 piece rhythm machine with multiple front people. Christopher Taylor, Jesse Cartlidge and Matt Olivieri Lead the band with Tremendous vocals and an exhaustive stage show. Each play keyboards and guitar along with Jimmy Wooten on drums, Jack Kidd; vocals and bass and Mike Fallis; vocals and guitar.
The energy and stage show are explosive. The Rockets cover any song with uncanny resemblance to the original recording. The Rockets impersonate the original artists to invoke memories of days gone by as well as days at hand. Go see The Rockets and see a dance floor alive and kicking. The people sitting down are tapping their toes and singing along. The energy and atmosphere created by The Rockets is special.
The Rockets are also available for weddings and corporate events. They have played hundreds and hundreds of social events besides being a nightclub icon all along The East Coast.
