my very talented wonderful love of my life... because he never fails to see the brighter side of me.
my parents. 'courage is not the lack of fear. it's acting in spite of it.'
man o man there are days that i can be the epitome of lazy.
i really think it's because there can be times that
i'm missing "interesting challenge" in my life.
a bit of intellectual perplexity if you will.
my brain misses the drunken psyche diagnosis chats with everyone at our random
drink ups at my house or the torrevilla's house or wherever...
most of the time it was in Eastside creating what I call "Eastside
Enlightenment"
let me explain...drinking in front of the garage, common in eastside,
can cause people to ponder the oddest things, the drunker you get,
the clearer things become. end of the night you are "enlightened" as to the
solution or meaning of whatever nonsense you brought up in the first place.
i believe the people you come across in life really do make you the person
you are today.
with that in mind, i owe everything i am to the people i've met and have had
the privilege to call my friend, sister, brother, pinsan, lover, soul mate, partner in
crime, teacher...the list goes on.
sadly as we age...well, for some of us, that is...
it's harder to keep
appointments that used to be a part of daily routine.
the odd thing is it's not necessarily lack of TIME but maybe lack of energy?
unlike before when I had the energy...it's just harder to hold on to the dozens
of strings
that once tied your relationships together... like
balloons... it can get very
windy, even stormy...
makes the strings quite slippery.
i'll tell you one thing though... life has finally cut me some slack.
i've met the one person that perfectly compliments me.
"love is incompleteness in absence."
can you believe 3 years is creeping up on us?? and yet i am still very much in love like a silly little schoolgirl...
being with him makes me appreciate all prior relationships. bad and good
times.
"If the burden seems too much to bear, Remember... the end will justify the pain
it took to get us there" (RelientK)
now chris gets to see his doodles in motion! check out his new work :) BUCK
of course you can always see his original stuff on [thebeastisback.com]
Who I'd like to meet:
new people are always fun. but lately i've been feeling like i need to "re-meet" the people i've known for years.
i think everyone should try this every so many years. you might find that someone you've known forever is a complete stranger. or perhaps you've grown into someone that they no longer know.
just like phone books, relationships need to be updated every now and then.
