The Rockstar Lullaby, was formed in mid-2003 and has been constantly looking out for that elusive line-up that would push their music beyond alternative boundaries. This band is made up of Jamiel as the main vocals and songwriter of TRL, Malique on 1st guitar, Anthony on 2nd guitar and Wan Black on drums. TRL is mainly influenced by the likes of Incubus, Padi, Dewa, The Asian Kung-Fu Generation and Lifehouse. The sounds of The Rockstar Lullaby would remain distinctively as alternative rock and they live by their name which balances out the soft and heavy side of rock, sharing stories that all of us have and experience in common. The Rockstar Lullaby do not restrict their music to just one language. There are always messages to be learned from their songs, which are inspired from what Jamiel perceives as R.E.C.; Relations, Emotions and Commotions. They believe that if you have something in your mind, speak it out or in their case, sing it out.
