Who is Rodney Rush...?
He is a highly gifted verbalist that is dedicating his life to music. He is most closely involved to the rap/hip hop industry, but finds time to scribble down some amazing sounds of other genres of music. He has also recently began acting and is interested in being equally involved with the film industry. He is skilled in writing, performing, acting, drawing and maintains an overall passion that shines brightly in arts and entertainment. As a developed artist Rush is currently working on his solo LP entitled "Unorthodox" which will dropping late 2009. He has spent countless hours writing and recording it and it's release is highly anticipated. With release of his current single "Just Chill" he has the hit the local Albuquerque night life scene. He has been seen doing performances at various clubs in and around town. With many more to shows to come he's currently booked through the end of the summer.
Five Star Records is his signed label which includes his two producer and an outstanding line up other local hip hop artists. His producers Tempted and Gemme Stakz put Rodney on the team in the beginning of 08'. Though there close friendship through out many years has brought them to be a very tight knit family. One if the newer artists Dugz was recently put on the team and will drop an album along side Rush. Also keep an ear out for youngen joining the squad... The whole team collectively is on there buoyant verge of success and will proudly let nothing get in there way.
As mentioned Rodney Rush has also begun an acting career, and so far has gotten off to a great start. He had the opportunity of joining the television show Breaking Bad early in the start of there first season and since has been back for three more episode throughout there second season. His character Combo had his demise in the controversial episode "Mandala" in which he is gunned down by a young kid. He is represented by A&M agency and is in the process of finding new upcoming roles.
Being that he his hardworking and openly ready to take his careers another step forward. People in masses will soon know his name. He is Quoted as "Rodney (Mother F***ing) Rush..." by many. If you didn't know.... Now you know!
