Great bands The Rogues have shared the stage with:
-Repeat Offender
-Mouthguard
-The Red Paintings
-Small Mercies
-The New Jack Rubys
-The Vagrant City Scandal
-Van Halen
-The Cairos
and many more...
After 3 years of toiling away at their instruments, The Rogues arose triumphantly in 2008 with the release of their debut EP, "Knuckles". Capturing the explosive live sound the boys have developed over the years was certainly no easy task, but thanks to the expertise of producer Bryce Moorhead, these 5 tracks hit the listener like a good ol' fashioned kick in the guts. The EP's single, Whiskey in the Wall, has already grown a reputation amongst fans of The Rogues, displaying the best of vocalist Jack Rodgers' sleazy guttermouth, backed by a growling rhythm section of Reuben Schafer (bass), Steven Moloney (guitar) and Tom Kidd (drums).
The Rogues will be taking a well earned rest through 2009, as the boys pursue their individual dreams. But don't fret! You can catch the boys performing with various other acts over the next few months, and come September you can expect The Rogues to make a fearsome return to the stage.
“The Rogues’ raw and filthy classic rock sound was so convincing that I had to check the calendar to make sure it wasn’t 1976.”
