About me:
This book, The Roman Alphabet as told by Marcq Kristofer Brooks, is a collection of photographs. One day I pondered the names in my telephone and decided to take a journey through the representation of letters in our names. Monograms, initials, and such all point to our affiliation with our letters. I chose to explore this photographically, making my way through the whole alphabet. What I found is how far removed certain letters are from our names. Such as "Z" or "Q". Some are more common in our society than others. This book is less about photographic invention than a chronicle of people. In that, the experience was an interesting and exciting one. I hope you enjoy moving through the alphabet as much as I did.
Really, Marcq just wanted an excuse to do a photo shoot with anyone named Ursula, which he did.
