About ORDER OF THE DRAGON at Telarah Bowlo Sat Dec 12
Formed late in 2006 this original hard rock band from Maitland NSW burst onto the scene at Earthfest 2007, in a line up of near 20 bands, surprising everyone that was there with their kickin tunes and genuine mojo. Since then they have played a number of packed gigs, headlining on a number of occasions including Riley's Bar at Easts Bowlo, The Belmore Hotel, The Rutherford Hotel, The Lucky Country just to name a few. Dec 2007 saw them record their EP which will be released to much anticipation. Their style has been described as Metal/Rock with an undercurrent of Grunge/Punk. This makes sense considering some of the bands main influences include Metallica, Nirvana, Black Sabbath, Stone Temple Pilots, Blink 182, Greenday, Foo Fighters, just to name a few. In the short time they have been together they have gone from strength to strength, allready receiving radio airplay. The band is serious in what they do and are striving to make it big in the music industry.
