    At the beginning of 2007, Philadelphia artist Nassaw Tate formed the hard hitting punk trio 'The Rooftops'. The group quickly gained notoriety for their raw and honest sound, striking a meaningful chord with blue-collar society in particular. Later that year, with producer Dan Malsh at the helm, The Rooftops entered Soundmine studios to begin recording their first album. The debut LP 'Hope on the Streets' was released in January of 2008 and received high critical acclaim. Along with the release of 'Hope on the Streets' was the birth of 'drunk rock records'. DRR is a label which was created as a way to help brand the essence of Nassaw's artistic visions- well beyond it's sonic boundaries. Nassaw recently obtained full control of the label, which was initially equally vested by the original Rooftops line-up. As of December 2011, Nassaw joined the long standing Philadelphia based rock group '58 Fury'. Look for show schedules sometime in early to mid 2012!
