Formed by brotherhood and fate, Brisbane four-piece The Room creates lush, melodic rock anthems inspired by artists such as Mogwai, The Mars Volta, Radiohead, and Muse.
After a very successful launch late this winter, The Room are ready to 'wow' the masses with their debut release 'Where the Martyr Grows'. The debut EP was independently produced and recorded late 2008 in their home studio when not bedazzling local audiences.
The band has gigged extensively alongside many talented local and interstate artists. Stellar live performances have generated a loyal following for the band—a following sure to grow when The Room sets out on tour in 2009 to support the forthcoming EP.
The Room is Tristan Chu on guitar, Rick Clifford on keys, Brendan Chu on drums, and Jay Haddon on vocals and bass.
