The Roseto Uprising

Thanks for checking out THE ROSETO UPRISING. My name is Patrick Maccia and this is my project. It's a one man band used mainly for me to spread my thoughts , feelings and world views. The first thing you should know is that the music is heavy, yet melodic, passionate yet strong. I try to emphasize heavy riffs with insightful lyrics and of course killer guitar solos. I LOVE TO SOLO !.....Now...... what The Roseto Uprising is all about.... In the Fall of 2008 I released my 1st cd entitled "A Small Town Rebellion". Its a collection of demos that wrote and recorded in my small home studio. The reason for this 1st cd was that I was mad as hell about what the Bush crime family was doing to our country and screamin about it in song was the only way to get the feelings out and hopefully wake a few people up. I have to say that while not selling a lot of cd's (approx 50) I consider it a huge success because everyone that heard the songs related to the message and gave me positive feedback on the message. That's really all i ever wanted or expected Now that we've rid ourselves of the Bush tyrant I can breath again and move on to the next cd. I'm currently working on the next release which will be titled " Pain and Protest" . I think its an appropriate title because this time while still writing about social and political problems there will be some hope sprinkled in since I'm feeling better about our direction. I hope you like what you hear and that the lyrics make you consider things that maybe you hadn't before. I appreciate and thank you for taking the time to check me out.
