Defining their own style as folk-pop, their music brings notes of intimate singer-song writing with a subtle jazz & blues influence. The band is composed of 5 young musicians from Ghent, who are very eager about spreading the word and playing their music for as much people as possible.
Finishing their new setlist, The Rosewall looks forward to climbing back on stage again and doing what they love, and if everything goes as planned, they will record their first EP in the fall of this year. In the meantime, their first music video of the single Welcome To My Friends appeared on Jim tv, where the clip reached the top of the charts of the program Puur Belgisch (pure Belgian). They look forward to unleashing upon the world their 2nd video in spring.
The band started as friends playing together, and after a number of changes in the setup, it evolved to a band centered around singer-songwriter Thomas Oosterlynck, with a rhythm section, cello, piano and acoustic guitar. (Dries Hoof on bass, Sylvester Vanborm on Drums, Eva Bruneel cello, Simon Oosterlynck on piano). In the past they have received some esteemed reviews and promising recognition on local talent competitions such as Dranouter Rally (finals), De Beloften (finals), Jonge Wolven (1st) and Kunstbende (2nd), which meant a great boost for their confidence.

After The Bony King of Nowhere took off last week with two sold-out release shows at AB and Vooruit, I am now very proud to announce that my first album "Alas My Love" is available in stores and on Itunes.
