booze, smoke, cigarettes, roadside mental breakdowns, buskers, beggers, campfires, morbid fairy tales, b-movies , beans with mustard..and a bit o' hot sauce, freak shows, solidarity, corruption, riots, fire fire fire, transients and tramps...and Nellie...the stinky, shaggy, grandma pooch.
We started out busking on the streets of Ottawa, making money for our daily neccessities, but, soon realized we wanted to take our music more seriously. We began to play shows in and around ottawa and hitched across Canada in the summer of 2007.
When we got out west (Victoria, BC) we recorded a full length cd in our friends basement and booked a tour back home along with our friends in the band Ursula. They bought a van, we played shows together, it was a ball.
After tour we decided to remain calling Ottawa, ON home, and decided to record some stuff we had been working on. So, in Montreal, PQ, we went to Red Rhino studios with our friend Menno Versteeg, who produced, and Richard Vincent who engineered and recorded our three song ep 'Drawn In Crayon: a tale'.
Since then we've performed at North By North East 08 in Toronto, ON, embarked on a 3 month tour across Canada and up north to the Yukon Territory, and still appear on your local street corner (so if you see us, spare some change please!), excited to get ourselves out there, to everywhere and anywhere we can.

Hello! Sorry for my late messaging! your songs are absolutely beautiful and mesmerizing. I would absolutely love to do a show together sometime. It looks like I just missed your trip down to western Canada, though. I've been away in the UK for a while and just got back on Monday. I hope you come back soon! xx
Scobey misses you! I'm currently looking for more bands for acoustic shows, let me know if you can think of any around my area. I'm just basically adding everyone on your top friends. Haha
Hey guys, thanks for accepting! Liking your stuff, too. Anything lo-fi is a winner for me, and you pretty much nail one of my favourite styles. Keep it up, and make sure to keep in touch about whatever you have going on!
Today I would like to let you know about two print magazines in Germany I'm writing for.
"Living Line Dance", reporting about line dance and country music, and "Folk Magazine", reporting about folk and country music. The magazines are high respected in Europe. They offer you a good chance to publicize yourself in Europe and Germany.
For more information, please contact me at MySpace or send email to Ch.Lamitschka@t-online.de with the headline "Advertise at Living Line Dance and Folk Magazine".
Warm regards
Christian
