If you want to book The Rox then please get in touch through Myspace or contact us at theroxmusic@hotmail.co.uk
The Rox are based around West Kent and South London. Between them they bring a lot of different influences to the band. Electric, acoustic, vocal harmonies, grooving bass and drums. Its all here.
They originally started under the name Kraft Studio, but after under going a few line up changes we started as the Rox in 2006.
They have been gigging intensely locally for the last two years building up a following and are now starting to make a big push.
The Rox are best known for their live show, getting the crowd involved from beginning to the end. The energy of the music and vocal harmonies are the reason why a night out to see The Rox will be enjoyed by all. Check out the gigs page to see when the lads are coming to a venue near you.
Review by Paul Dunton of an acoustic gig at the Gray Lady in Tunbridge Wells last summer:
"The Headline act were The Rox who raised the tempo with their melodic indie rock. The Rox are really sounding tight and polished these days, not that they were ever loose but they are brimming with confidence and not arrogance which makes them even more appealing in my book. Steve McCormack was inspired as he sung his heart out with good oodles of power & control, joined by the extremely talented triad of James Gasson on vocals & guitar, Richard Easeman on bass and Simon Whiting on percussion. Their style is uptempo melodic rock, the kind of which you just can’t help but nod your head and tap your foot to. Bear in mind folks this is a sit & listen acoustic evening, so any band/artist that makes you start tapping your feet or nodding your head is doing very well. I would describe their music as vibrant, edgy and dynamic even in the acoustic guise, I actually prefer their acoustic versions to their fully amplified but that is because I am a bit of an acoustic nutcase Either way they are darn good!"

Hey! Hope you are doing good. I wanted to let you know about a show i'm doing in London on Sunday, June 1st.
I'm touring with Tommy Allsup. He played guitar with Buddy Holly, and is the guy playing on songs like "Heartbeat", "It's So Easy", etc, etc.....he is 76 and still going strong.
He is a character.
Anyway, i would love to see you at the show. I think as a fellow musician that you will really appreciate seeing Tommy play, and listening to his stories! He is THE guy that flipped the coin with Ritchie Valens.
If you want to see Tommy in action....check out my blog. There is a video from last week in Nashville from the studio.
Take care, the music is sounding great, and i hope to see you soon!
Sincerely,
Kevin Montgomery
