The Royal 8 are all residents of California. They are all related by having the same great-great grandmother. They first came together at their great aunt's funeral on October 30, 1999. They were asked to sing a few songs during the funeral and afterwards, a few of their family members suggested they make an album. Over a year later a couple of the guys decided to go ahead with the idea. So for the following year, they released their first album, "My Savior, First Of All." The group began to work on a second album, however, one of the members moved away for college and the album has been put on hold untill he returns. Until then, we hope you enjoy the songs that The Royal 8 have recorded as it was a pleasure for them to put them together.
