we are above the influence. duh. But we like Incubis, John Legend, Ingred Michaelson, Alicia Keys, Coldplay, and pretty much everything else out there!

The Royal Pitches hail from University at Buffalo and, even though it's chilly spot, they've been keeping things hot since 1996. In their spare time, the Pitches enjoy shoes, pitchin' fits, and lookin' like foxy ladies. While they're performing, this 100% chick a cappella group keeps it exciting with a taste for music that's almost sweet as they are. With an extremely fresh attitude and sublime sound, their tunes are fit for royalty.
The Pitches have a Winter and Spring concert every school year, and also sing for events such as Take Back the Night - UB's walk to end sexual violence, and Preview Day for incoming students. Sometimes, we even sing in public (on or off-campus) just for fun! Actually plans for a rest stop tour are currently in the works for next year! :P
We have attended the International Collegiate Competition of A'cappella (ICCA) competition and in 2003, the girls made it to the semifinals in NYC! In the 2006 quarterfinals in Syracuse, NY we placed third.
This year we were very excited to release our newest CD! It debuted at our 2008 Winter Concert showcasing songs by artists such as Incubus, Coldplay, and even Chris Brown and they're selling for only $10 each!
What I was saying is that Life's a Pitch has already been used. It's the name of the first CD we released. We recorded it in the basement of Slee Hall, not even in a recording studio!
Hey ladies. I am the founder and original director of this group. I read your bio and it said that a Pitch lived in the very same room years later as the group's founder. Are you referring to the Fargo room? I can't remember the room number... how did you know I lived there? And glad to see you're still doing Seasons of Love. I arranged it. By the way, are you launching an album called Life's a Pitch? Did you know that was our the name of our very first CD we released? I'm curious about that... please write back and let me know. And keep on rocking ladies!

Thanks for befriending the GREAT Binghamtonics. Fame and fortune are in your future now that you a part of the Tonics crew. If people give you strange looks walking down the street, don't be alarmed. Know that that is jealousy, and you are special now.
Tonics Love
I remember when I was walking through the spine between the SU and lockwood last semester I saw a Royal Pitches advertisement. Upon closer look the advertisement said Royal Bitches. I thought it was funny. And by funny i mean completely innapropriate.
