The Radioactive Pink Elephant is an online radio show by two soup-brained girls who sold half of their souls to the internetz. And it's up every Friday evening +8 GMT.
Despite the awfully interesting/amusing/annoying/relaxing/~ing banter, our main concern is in spreading good music from the indie and DIY side of things. Spanning different styles from dancey tunes that make you dizzy to spoken word against jazzy backgrounds, we hope to bring you a nice assortment of songs in every podcast. There will be alot of dancing, even if it's just inside your heads.
No, you won't find us here talking about how the timing and the mixing are masterfully done or about how a song pays tribute to Queen with a reggae twist layed over beats reminiscent of Madonna... We aren't music experts but hey if you enjoy it, you enjoy it. And obviously, we do.
For some reason, creativity decided to happen and the internet let it spread. As Hilary Duff said, "London, Paris maybe To-ki-yo there's something going on anywhere..." and surprise, surprise her lyricists were right with one thing. We're here to give you a head start and a heads up on what's out there. Or we could just be playing random songs.
But we're happy to just provide you an hour-ish worth of good music and tragically attempted entertainment. Download now yesyes! And of course, the main reason for our existence is to promote these awesome bands and artists so do support them and buy their albums, go to their gigs, or visit their pages and give them more hits yay!
