Paul and Fidel from Applicants are playing a set on a boat in the Thames tomorrow supporting the Holy Ghost Revival. Its a free gig, although the headline act ask if you can donate something to put in their new house. Fidel is planning to do the old Tommy Cooper thing and give them a tea-bag, place it into their top pocket and say: "Have a drink on me".
The boat is called the Battersea barge and I'm told the nearest tube to it is Vauxhall. We're on dead early - about 8.30 - so come early - we're going to need loads of cheering on as we are doing it without Jeff.
See you there.

Alright all!! Now that the gale force winds have left us, it is time for fun and frivolity. To that end we are playing a FREE PIAZZA GIG at 5:30 pm tuesday, after all the breakdancing and shizzle.
And then excitingly we've got our EP launch at the JUG AND JESTER on THURSDAY, for more details see:
It will be kicking off at 8ish with a relatively early band finish at 10:30ish to allow everyone to go to the last supercool. Entry is two english pounds, but for that you get Ivan Dobsky, Wolf and Bear, our new EP for free and DJs.
Hmmm, maybe I'll come in my magnet suit that repels all metals - that way you can't put a badge on me. Although I probably wont be able to catch the bus either thinking about it...
I dont think our drummer will be ready for a few months yet. I have to tell Jeffrey first and explain that she can still control the minidisc. It still might be a complete disaster, but we're going to have a go!
What if someone wears brown, can they be all three? In a relationship, but undecided if they want to be or not? Or just perhaps a bit shitty?
I'll probably wear blue to be on the safe side.
Jeffrey is in Prague at the moment. I'm not when she'll be back, but I'll let her know about your launch too. It sounds like fun!
We might be playing before the 4th July actualy, but its difficult to confirm dates for sure becasue Jeff is away and hasnt looked at her phone yet, and the dates we've been offered are way out in South London.
I'll text you to come to the gig on the 4th. Definately. It will be good to see you there!
I've recruited a drummer for the band too. No idea how that is going to work, but its exciting none the less. He's a friend of mine - I had no idea he could drum. Funny how he kept that to himself!
I'll put you down on the £4 guestlist anyway, I hope you can come down. Tom is coming, it should be fun. There's a 2 for 1 happy hour 9-10, and drinks are £2 after that. They said they're going to put up a Snes too so I can takje you on at Mario Kart. See you later?
We are playing on Wednesday at Bar Rhumba in the West End at a club called YellowBalck. If you want to come message me and I can put you on an Applicants list that means its £4 in. That's a lot, but its open till 3am and there are £2 drinks inside all night.
Heya boys and girl :) sorry it took me so long to reply to your message (That was months ago!). Yeah I know Vicky Stuart really, known her for years now lol. I saw you all last christmas at the grammaphone in Shoreditch, you were fantastic I have to say.
I actually run a gig night in Northampton, and it'd be great to put u on sometime. I'm away in the USA for a couple of months, but I'll be doing more nights when I'm back, so i'll let u know.
Hope you're well, we've got 2 new songs up on our myspace, come check them out.
Let us know what you think, if you like them then come and see us this Friday (30th May) for our first ever London headliner at the Bull and Gate in Kentish Town.
We are on about half past 10 - but we might be at the venue form a long time bfore becasue of soundchecks, so if you fancy it come down any time you like.
John said it should be fine for you and +1 to be on a at £5 instead of the £8 or whatever it is. If you like Maths that could make you 62% more important, or 38% cheaper than everyone else. Oh god, no, I didnt mean it like that. Ah, anyway, we're on at about 5 I think, but there's many others playing beofre and after. See you there! x
I think it might be £8, which is a lot I now! But I suppose it does stretch from 1pm till midnight or something and there's a free BBQ. Are all 3 of you coming? Let me know, I'll ask John if he can put you on a reduced rate.
Paul and I didnt get T-shirts. Jeffrey did. Paul and I feel an unsufferable injustice has taken place.
If you plan to come on Saturday, we might be on about 5. So I hope you dont miss us. There's a Free BBQ there actually, so don't worry about Ma's old home cookin' for once.
