About me: Apparently I'm a scanner. Someone who not only wants to do everything, but honestly believes they can. Currently I'm living in South Korea teaching English. This is my 3rd time teaching Asia, I'm looking to branch out and maybe head to South America next year.
I'm a singer at heart, a geographer, a book-coffee-and beer snob, and prone to being too serious. I'm easily annoyed by the banality of life - small talk, dishonesty, and the DMV. I love books so much that I get dressed up to go to the library.
I'm that person at a party who isn't interested in chatter, but will sit with you curled up in a corner with a glass of wine to discuss the real dirt of life, love, and politics.

Hey Shanna! Yeah, I'm currently with CRAI in Western KY working a Phase II on a rock shelter. I previously did a project with ASC, who seemed to be pretty happy with my work. That was the first time I worked for a company other than CRAI...same work, different people... I heard you and Jim are in Korea...?? How's that going??
Hey Shanna! How are things your way? Stop by my page again soon, I'll try to put some new photos of the boy up...those other ones were from months ago...need to update things. Still archin' it?? I'm trying to avoid archaeology like the plague, but might have to go back if nothing else comes up. Hope all is well.
nope never heard of them. i'll check them out sometime. yeah diggin's gettin old, but it could be worse. at least we get to work outside and change locations frequently. even if being outside sometimes is hellish and the location isnt enjoyable, we have the power to leave an go somewhere else. i kinda feel like an indentured servant to E&A sometimes, but poppa treats me with respect and takes care of me... so i stay. aren't you leaving the country soon, or are you back?
Things are good cause I'm leaving tomorrow to go home for a class that is running a month long. I've been stayin in downtown pittsfield...u talk about a great nitelife lol. We have only worked about 2 weeks of the 3 I have been here because of the rain. We are off today and tomorrow cause our site is flooded. Are you working for URS or CCRG?
Love the title, love the cast, but haven't seen it! Thanks for the recommendation!
It's funny. One of my best girlfriends back home recommended a couple movies to me yesterday and it made me chuckle. I call her "Poodle" and my "Consultant of Taste" because she's like uber-girly and fashionable and high-strung, but we're TOTALLY best buds. It's weird. Anyway, she recommended Fool's Gold and some other silly romantic comedy. Ah, girls.
Happy 29th! You don't recognize a band named The Crick Rats, do you? Or a guy named Rick Bowman? They play in Nashville often, I hear (but who doesn't?!?)
i was singing and dancing in the little rain we had. it was a beautiful weekend! not as many people this year as last, possibly due to gas prices, but we were all good friends of all ages. we smoked rabbit and chickens then roasted a hog so the food was superb as well! were are ya workin now? hope yer havin fun at least!
