Out of the ashes of a fallen and tired roadworn apocalypse THE RUINED FEW was born, aggression ridden and ready to burn, Mark Lopez(Ex-Las Cruces Lead Guitarist and founding member), set out to countinue the saga on this musical journey to rebirth. On this journey, Mark then teamed up with neighborhood mates Steve Martinez(drums) and Brian Grimes(bass guitar/Rhyth Guitar), to begin the formation of TRF. Within time, after auditioning several bass players, and picking up Rick Flores(Ex founding member of Las Cruces), Brian Grimes evntually went back to doing what he did best and thats playing Rhyth/Guitar. Now with a stronger Rhyth Section and still no set vocalist in place, TRF countinued to write and experiment with diffrent sounds and mic placement. As time went on and After numerous auditions for a vocalist for TRF, no one seem to have what it took to cut it, and the band was at their wits end. One day some time later, at a small jam session between Mark and Steve, walks in Patrick Hewlett(vocals), Not knowing TRF was looking for a vocalist, Patrick was just hanging with a mutual friend of TRF. Seeing that no one was singing, he voluteered his services, jokingly Steve and Mark ammused Patrick's request, not really taking him serious, seeing that he was very young. In astonishment after a few minute of jammin with Pat, Mark realized they had found their vocalist, Pat agreed to join the band and the rest is history in the making. From 2003 to the summer of 2005, The Ruined Few, released 800 copies of a three song demo to fans at shows throughtout Texas, in which they had been performing in varios bars and clubs in the great state of Texas. With nothing but positive praise and good reviews from fans all over the state and the world, TRF countinues a positve mindset forward. BORN AND BRED FOR ALL YOU METAL THIRSTY MANIACS, AND YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE! LONG LIVE METAL!!!!!!

“In live performance, Kimberly Freeman of One Eyed Doll, combines the rock-star bravado of a Jack White(or Jack Black) with the visual impact of a Japanese Anime…. A super heroine that’s alternately fierce, outrageous, vulnerable and sweet. Dressed like a punk metal baby doll, she punctuates here raging guitar work with a three foot mane of hair she whips and flails about rhythmically, mesmerizing the audience with displays of physical agility that literally burst the confines of the stage. And similar to the White Stripes or Black Keys, she is accompanied by a lone drummer… If you haven’t seen them, what are you waiting for?!” -INSITE MAGAZINE
