I was listening to "Umbrealla Folds" tonight through some nice speakers, and feeling 100% chilled.

Can I just say that particular song is the first convincing instance I have heard in many moons of a band who could be good enough to follow from the good work of The Stone Roses?

The melody is sweet, the tone is perfect, and the drums could make me dance above the clouds, in the right frame of mind.

I very much like your other songs as well, in particular 'Marian Shine', but 'Umbrella Folds' is the business.

Keep up the good work.

PS a suggestion: a joint tour with The Phenomenal Handclap Band would be amazing...especially if you play Newcastle.

Let me know if it happens.

Danny.

Jun 25 2009 9:14 AM

it's a strong inspiration from stone roses, together with inspiral carpets, tad of tim burgess, and ride vapour trail, all very verging on reminisant sound, im thinking deep charlatans / seahorses with a tad of disco blur would b an oragsm in the ears! infact thers more than a hint o primal sream in ther, am pishd prob a terrible analysis but fuck it thers somethin about it! x

Jun 20 2009 10:30 AM

Thanks for add !
"Marian Shine" is well-running rockmachine with sophisticated guitars, but "Sleeping Beauty" is my favourite for a very good main-melody with much "pop-appeal".
