The Rumors are a Southern Indiana-based band that formed in 1994 and has spent the last decade-plus playing shows around the Louisville, Ky., area and the region. Drawing from numerous influences, the Rumors play everything from the Beatles and Buddy Holly to John Mellencamp and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, to modern rock such as Coldplay. The Rumors have played everywhere from St. Louis to Chicago to Nashville to Cincinnati, and have played the Kentucky Oaks, opening day at Churchill Downs, numerous Kentucky Derby events, festivals, church events and more.
