The Runaround, formerly known as The Checklist, reformed in the late Fall of 2007 to represent the muscial styles of ska, jazz, reggae, rocksteady, punk and any other genre or stylistic integrations of its members. The group yeilds members from both past and present groups and projects including Mile 21, The Cualfields, and The SquarePegs. The current set list features a set of covers from both national and international groups of the Reggae/ska/Jazz style. Origional songs are in the works for late fall 2008. Agents include Carlos Menezes Jr on horns and vocals, Tim Klopotoski on trombone, keys, and vocals, James Gigliotti on Bass, Nick "Cheeks" Capello on sax, and Steve Russo on drums. In its three year existance the band or its members have had the honor of supporting such acts as Sean Paul, Morgan Heritage,The Toasters, Toots and the Maytals, The Planet Smashers, The Slackers, Mustard Plug, Voodoo Glow Skulls, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Westbound Train, The Know How, Fear Nuthin Band, Deals Gone Bad, The Skatalites, Big D and the Kids Table, New York Ska Jazz Ensemble, Kevin Batchelor, and more.
