   About the rural tradition
An ongoing, largely futile struggle to make music that will somehow allow me to wake up in a grand Victorian mansion or a Samuel Palmer painting. Released a spectacularly unsuccessful vinyl lp in 2007. Which you can now download for free / pay what you what from here. Or contact me for a vinyl copy, which has two extra songs.

Happy melody♦making, lord poids. I hope you've found little pockets in the day to do so.

May they be short, may they be sweet, may there be more...

and more.

Here it is again, julio. (beware the telephone this time) ;-)

Mmm, I came to repost this, and did not have headphones or speakers on, but could hear the music very faintly through the headphones on the floor. Very faerie like, and ghostly...so faint, and it took me minute to realize what I was hearing.

In pre-Christian rural traditions, dancers wearing colored costumes or animal furs, toured from house to house in villages singing and dancing to ward off evil.

Your record came!!! I'd just assumed you'd forgotten and chose not to bother you more with it. Thank you so much], really! I can honestly say that's the first time a record has come in the post for us. Made my day. I will be honest...I've not played it, though the record player is ready and beggin' to use her voice, but we've chosen to wait, my mister and I, for an evening where we may just sit with coffee and tea and sketchbooks to truly savour the sounds, to not be bustling about while it plays. So we wait. errrr...impatiently...for such an evening.

In the meantime, i see you've suddenly cranked out quite a few new tunes?! I'll give these a listen...
A wonderful afternoon to you, Lord Poids, ;o)
