The Rustys are an Indie/Folk/Rock band. Originally a duo, the band brought a bass to their line up to form a trio.

The boys from Ocean Grove write and perform their own music and Beau Torrance has won numerous awards for his songs.
You should look out for the Rustys because they will have new songs on the way which you will be able to download at www.triplejunearthed.com/TheRustys , and the new CD will hopefully be out by the end of this year. In 2006 the boys recorded their debut CD titled Lovely Day.
The Rustys have come a long way since banging on pots and pans to all the wiggles hits at age 2. Or the first time performing as a trio at the local Open Mic Nights, and you will notice the change in sound since the boys voices have broken.
The Rustys have played at a stage at the Queenscliff music festival and can always be seen busking there. They have been to the Apollo Bay Music Festival 3 times now their achievements have included winning the young songwriters award in 2007. Playing on stage in 2008 and winning the best street musician in 2009. They were 3rd in the state at the freeza push start battle of the bands. Beau Torrance has also won the Australian Children’s Songwriting Competition with his song Why Dont You Go.
