The Sacred Dice is the bombastic brain child of brothers Anthony and Louis Cristofani, who decided to make the lost art of risk and gamble (especially in career and love!) holy again. They formed the band while Anthony was in prison, writing songs in the visiting room when Louis came to visit. They recruited Lindsey Kate Cristofani (Anthony's wife), a Muse (the Muse of Pop Music), painter, short-fiction writer, and solo artist in her own right (www.myspace.com/lindseykatecristofani). They tossed in Carter "the mad scientist of bass" Wallace (www.myspace.com/carterwallace) for extra spice and now they are here to save you from 'whatever' and 'same old same old' and 'ya know, how it is.' They are above all a live act--unpredictable, theatrical, dance-happy, improvisatory, more like a circus than a rock show, and overflowing with enough love to make even Roberto Benigni proud. If you prefer your artists to 'shut up and sing' as they told the Dixie Chicks, we are not your band. If you like cliche's and bad poetry, we are not your band. Prometheus brought fire to the people. Safe record companies put out the flames. We're stealing the fire back.

On November 13th, PinUp Productions will be hosting the Battle of the Bands Finals at The Avalon, THE premiere live music venue in the San Jose area.
