    Not the best of summers on the music front, really want to touch base with it all again.
    Must make contact when you get going again, maybe we can kick something around ideas wise - Id love to see a town wide 'festival', blues soul roots and psych...I dont know.

About me:

The Saloon, est. 2008, will be a monthly (well,give or take a few weeks) music event held in the intimate underground settings of the Lower Deck in Portobello (see map). The Saloon indiscriminately provides aural pleasure and a party atmosphere for a inclusive Irish 'scene'. Imbued with the democratic spirit it encourages those interested to participate on the night, namely dancing and drinking! We run nights at no-profit to ourselves, eschewing the mean middlemen and, excepting the cost of venue/promo, we give all money back to the bands. The primary focus of the event is to provide a platform for upcoming and established acts,be they music/art/theatre, as well as just simply having 'the craic'...we sure do! The Saloon, being in it's formative years, urges all to get involved for the sake of music and it's experimentation!

The (next) Saloon on SATURDAY MAY 29TH proudly awaits MESCALITO & BABADORIE & LET'S SET SAIL ... . Like last time, we promise a night of drunk dancing inside and spilling to outside on the banks of the very grand canal.
