Hailing from the streets of Little Rock, Arkansas, The Salty Dogs have incorporated hip sounds into their own blend of feel good country music.
The Salty Dogs won the 2003 Arkansas Times Musician's Showcase for the "Best Original Band in Arkansas."
The Salty Dogs' music has also received kudos from Deke Dickerson to Jason Ringenberg. The Salty Dogs' music has been featured on the TLC network hit show, Trading Spaces. Also, they have also recently recorded with the rock-n-roll legend, D.J. Fontana.
The Salty Dogs' latest effort, Autoharpoon, is scheduled to be released through Big Bender Records/Hapi Skratch Entertainment on May 15th, 2007.
