Immune system is being shit, things are not yet better! Starting to wonder if it's that new strain of swine flu. Perhaps I shan't make it to my birthday! Now wouldn't that be tragic. Book the train tickets - you can always use them to attend the funeral if the worst comes to the worst. :P I'm such a shameless hypochondriac.

Have you taken the Bromo-Dragonfly yet? What is it like?

That's a good idea, I may offer people the leftover nuts in future. They need not know they're from cereal! I could build up entire snack bowls of them.

It was/is tonsillitis! I feel a wee bit better today thank you, but it's still vile! Not to mention the fact that I thought I was in work today only to find out upon arrival at 3.30 that it's my day off. Ugh ugh and ugh.

I forgot you asked about the sketch show. It's still going strong though I haven't written anything new for a wee while. The art sketch idea I had not considered except indirectly, e.g. people getting the wrong idea when I said I was working on a sketch and assuming it was a drawing. I'm not quite sure how your idea would work - expand! I imagine making it a good idea will be some challenge. :P

How are things at your end?

I had forgotten about your rubbish food habits of this year. After 15 minutes this is all I've managed to type in this box due to stupid illness! I have taken a stand about the brazil nuts, now discarding them in the fruit bowl before adding milk (not to the fruit bowl) instead of just eating them anyway in a state of fervent disgust. Can't remember what else I was going to say. If this turns out to be meningitis I'm going to KILL work for having to spend my last days with them.

Its all your fault that I didn't listen to them, or that song, a lot earlier! :(

I looked up the trains thing, it costs like £30 from York to Glasgow and obviously you'd need to get to York first and I think it said you have to book in advance? There must be an easier way!

They cut off the last bit of my comment! It said something like 'I imagined it crawling up my bed at night for what felt like weeks afterwards. Recently I rewatched the episode and it was embarrassingly unrealistic. Embarrassing.' That's less impressive than what it actually said though. Here's hoping you don't somehow recover the original ending and find out I'm lying.

HOW UR YE (as we say it up here), Chris my man! Actually I don't say it like that and I'm not sure I know many people that do, but when at work and suchlike lots of customers say it, though that's because they have Strong Accents since they are of a Lower Social Class than me. Haha, I just wanted to get in a wee bit of classist (is there a better/proper term for it?) superiority.

I feel much less sophisticated than you these days. I have abstained from film and pretty much anything that could lead to vaguely intelligent conversation or swapping of recommendations. Well, apart from rewatching Mulholland Drive last weekend. What are your opinions of David Lynch? I remember we talked about Eraserhead a fair while ago but not anything else.

Now onto the frivolous bit of the comment. Well, it isn't really a comment... See when they called them comments back at the beginning when they made social networking thingies, do you think they actually intended people to do just that - COMMENT, on the person or the profile? And then people just started abusing it for the use of communication.

In other news, after our last discussion of secret mentalist matters, I actually HAVE become (more?) racist. Trying to keep things subtle with my phrasing here. Every time a Likely Mentalist comes into the shop I feel dead worried and peer at them to figure out if it's The Mentalist or if they might go mental just because... y'know... they all look the same. :P

And in a final effort to make this huge, I spy Jonathan Creek in your TV list! Have I told you how TRAUMATISED I was by one episode of that when I was wee! If I have just stop reading, it seems like the kind of thing I'd probably have told you in great detail before now. It was the one where they take away a wardrobe from the wall and there's a door behind it and THERE'S A HAND sticking out from under the door. They open the door and there's a rotting dead body lying up the stairs.

Yeah, its fair enough, I just play it as it annoys other people, and that's pretty much my aim in life - and basically, you lose the game everytime someone says it, but you just exclaim that there is no game when you do. Sweet. No spoon.

That is actually the best name ever for anything in the history of the world. And I love shouting Jeff Smith, it will never get "annotating" for me (nice use of the word, I want to go annotate some people).

I always win-lose everything! And if you never existed, you win forever, as existence is for suckers.

The game is already the most popular thing to ever happen.
Its a number one slamma-jamma!
Tom

ARGHUGAL! That should so be a word.

Hey, you know what's awesome? I've invented a new form of 'the game', and am trying to make people play it - every time you think of Jeff Smith, you win the game. You must announce it.

I win on average 3 times a day!

I am sorry for the delay of World. There has been some funding issues but it will be released as soon as possible and I've already started working on new tracks for future releases.

We had a wee bit of snow yesterday which lay all day but it was gone by today. I'm quite glad to be honest - snow is sadly no fun when going to and from work, especially when you emerge into a BLIZZARD.
What about you?

Apologies for major multi-commenting (I hope you're reading them backwards), but on the Matmos front, here's a sample: http://www. imeem. com/muddyclay/music/3O3TRIFZ/matmos_sun_on_5_at_152/

Make sure you don't stop listening before 6 minutes in! I love that bit.

Oh, and have you listened to Four Tet at all? I would recommend it to you (especially the album Pause), and Matmos. I haven't been able to find the - in my opinion - good bits of either of them online, but The West is my favourite Matmos album so far. I'd say it's definitely worth it if you can get a hold of it. Really confusing ambient stuff.

Oh God, Herzog is amazing! Have you seen Only Dwarves Started Small? I saw that at the cinema last year and it's probably the most perplexing and wonderful film I've ever seen.
Dwarves! Anarchy! But at the same time it's really nicely shot!

oh i sure did like the latest episode. i read the info thingy and knew i was in for a treat. super hans (/hands) was as ever the best bit about the show. someone was talking somewhere about how he reckoned super hans should get his own spin off but it seems the joy of SH is in what you dont see - the mystery of the man. i thought their talk about the internet was priceless.
Michael
