Hailing from the stunning beaches of the Central Coast, just outside of Sydney, Australia, The Satellite Nation consists of childhood friends; dynamic frontman Adam Byrne, Grant Matzen, bass, Glenn Fraser, guitar and Brendon Williams on drums.
The Satellite Nation has had a dream start to their music careers. In just over 3 years, they have released three EP's Hopelicity and Wake The Silent Day as well as their self titled The Satellite Nation. They have also released their debut full length album Innocence Is Running Out, all to critical acclaim and commercial success. They have toured Australia extensively, building a killer live show and a solid, loyal fan base. They have received high rotation on radio and won numerous awards, guaranteeing their place in the Australian Music Scene.
The Satellite Nation are committed to their music and dreams. It is this commitment that has seen them travel across the world in search of inspiration and excellence, leaving the safety of their home turf and relocating to Vancouver, Canada in mid 2007. They now travel between the two continents of Australia and North America.
Since 2007, they have written a plethora of new material, recorded two EPs in Sydney and Los Angeles, filmed a music video out in Joshua tree, for their first single “Last Time”, co-staring Electra Avellan from the movie Grindhouse, and played sell out shows and festivals in Vancouver, Toronto, New York and LA, which has all lead to an exciting buzz and a devoted fan base.
Their new, yet to be released body of work, "THE ECLIPSE" was a labour of love and an international adventure. It was worked on both in Los Angeles and Sydney by famed Producer Mark Trombino (Jimmy Eat World, Blink 182) and eclectic up and coming Producer Lachlan Mitchell. The new record will be released in early 2010 with an international tour scheduled soon after.
The Satellite Nation write with brutal honesty about the coming of age of the Y generation; love, life, loss, success and the world around us. They are a true musical collective, raw and organic, continually pushing the boundaries and themselves, creating a sound distinctly their own.

Hey there! Just popping by your page to let you know we are heading to Sydney this weekend to playing a couple shows to launch our new EP "Enigmatic'. We're at Blink on Friday night with Stodowa, and the then at The Excelsior Hotel on Saturday night with Marlow, Geminine and Origin of Janken. We'll be joined on stage by 'Head Filled Attraction' guitarist Leopold Esquire, as well as a lighting and visual feast for you to gorge yourself on. Hope to see you there!

Hi This week was fun. I was called and asked if I wanted to perform at the big Mikkel Kessler World Championship Boxing Match. I didn’t know much about boxing, but I said yes.
