Go Slow is not just the title of the new record from the Saturdays, it's also the bands philosophy. After all, what would you call a work that so neatly spreads itself across such a wide variety emotions so slowly?
Lyrically Go Slow covers everything from love lost to love found, good times and bad, and a little social commentary for good measure. The Saturdays will invite you in for a listen and then thank you. Musically Go Slow was based on Bo Butlers folk songs, that were stripped down even further in the studio, and then rebuilt into the sonically dense art that makes up The Saturdays debut LP for Superphonic Records.
For the record The Saturdays and producer Brad Armstrong took the "anyone who stopped by the studio got to play" approach, and the record became a true Birmingham effort. "Go Slow" features contributions of sounds from John P. Strohm (Blake Babies), Duquette Johnston (former Verbena and current labelmate), Jody Nelson (Through the Sparks), Nikolaus Mimikakis (The Dexateens & Through the Sparks), Keelen Parish (Wes McDonald Band), Sammy Boggan (13ghosts), Brad Armstrong (13ghosts, Maria Taylor), Claire Cormany (Kiss Me at The Gate), Buzz Russell (13ghosts) Alex Mitchell, and honorary Saturday Pete Nice on the pedal steel.

CountryHome Forum have more than 5,000 members. Each news you submit to CountryHome Forum will released to my weekly Newsletter with more than 50,000 readers.
Please submit your artist news and events to CountryHome Forum to help your artists to get well known better in Europe. If you do not have the time to submit your artist news and events by yourself, please send it me to: Ch.Lamitschka@t-online.de and I will submit them by myself to CountryHome Forum.
I know that many artists from North America don't have their music videos uploaded to German video websites. The most popular websites are MyVideo.de and ClipFish.de. That means your European audience does not have the chance to find them.
I understand that most of you don't speak German and are not able to upload videos because of the language barrier. If you would like me to upload your videos to the German video websites, please let me know.
Thanks

For the first Nerve release of 2009, we're very proud to present the debut EP from Copenhagen's Jean Doe.
It's drum n bass tinged with detroit techno and deep house, from the glitchy beats of the title track to deep rolling vibes on "Nuance" and "Fibre" before fellow Copenhagen based producer Pyro joins him for the epic and uplifting "Ambitions in A Minor".
7:00p + Monday, April 13, 2009 3719 3rd Ave South (Bottletree Cafe) A Birmingham SHOUT Fundraiser
Set in an all-male school, the story follows Timothy who suffers the wrath of his homophobic classmates. He withdraws into his imagination where macho rugby players morph into dancing fairies decked in go-go boy attire. When asked to star in the school play he first balks at acting. As Timothy eventually embraces the mischievous character of Puck, he finds the secret to a magical pansy that seems to turn people gay! He then puckishly imposes a new reality by turning much of his narrow-minded town gay, beginning with the rugby-jock of his dreams.
