Sounds Like
think of a subway melt sandwich then minus the melted cheese and add a dash of drumming and a sprinkle of guitar, a seasoning of bass, a garnish of vocals and a dollop of southwest sauce and binded together by indie/punk/rock roots. That is the sound of the scallywags.
The Scallywags formed properly in summer '05 after a long struggle to find a consistant line up. They still lacked something that every good band needs though, namely a singer. After an epic journey to find a singer they pleaded with bassist Chris Man to sing so they can at least "structure" the songs, Chris Man said "yes okay, but leave my balls out of this". After that the scallys got their heads down and bolted out a few songs and still are now. With the Mighty, thunderous, head booming Drums from Jon and the Bone crunching, pillow erecting, mind blowing Guitarage from Adrian and the Ball Vibrating, law breaking, "crazy a as coconut" vibes from basisst Chris Man. In our own little ways we hope to bring peace to the world.
