Scalpel (otherwise known as Singer/Composer/Keyboardist Ben "Graver" Tritsch) is the culmination of many years of thought, trial and error and pissing around. Started in 2006, Scalpel was created as a musical output for the hundreds of lyrics littering Graver's computer. Combining his three loves: Metal, Industrial and Electronica, Graver set out to create a moody, dark, heavy dose of music.
Even though the first lyrics for the project were written during the Fall of 2005, the first song (Acadia) was not written until May of 2006. While it only portrays one side of the multi-faceted Scalpel, it is the product of a very personal time in Graver's life.
