   About Scarify
The band was formed in September 2006 by Cem and Tarhan.. Later with the addition of Can, Mert and Berat the band was complete.. Eventhough it was newly formed, with hard work and discipline, they gave their first concert in November at Melek Rock Bar with the groups Turret and Kurar.. If you ask where the name came from; during lots of name trials Can came up with the name and it was accepted instantly by the others.. The word 'Scarify' means: to scratch or cut the skin until it bleeds..
