About Scars Remain

Through trial and error, lives are changed and individuals are reborn. In an instance, those select few may find themselves in a moment of personal reflection, taking into consideration the events and memories that were catalysts and instrumental to their growth. Those who have lived these moments not only safeguard the lessons learned, but have the markings upon their body, heart, soul and mind. You have not truly lived unless you have the stripes that remind you of those experiences. Irremovable, and always present to those who know how to search out their meaning and learn from the lessons past. Wounds will heal… but scars remain.

Scars Remain… born out of the ashes of two bands in the summer of 2005. Jason, Jeremy and Jeff; three lifelong friends poised with forming a musical entity which would put their names on the musical map of Nashville’s local scene. Previously known as Kholera before parting ways with their former vocalist, they set out to reinvent their style and aim towards a higher ground of musical diversity. After a series of auditions they found Jose (The Leech), a Puerto Rican metal head, formerly of the band Eclectic Bullet, who had just the right amount of aggression and melody to quench the thirst for creativity.
