"Wonderfully poignant songs; poetic and moving compositions with exquisite melancholy that ably demonstrate how to successfully use transatlantic influences whilst maintaining a Scottish identity." Country Music People magazine
"Gorgeous tunes that, even when the stories are dark, make you feel all gooey inside. World weary heaven." The Daily Record
“One of our favourite live acts. Lead singer Andy Tucker has one of those great country soul voices.” Bluesbunny
"There’s a very endearing, laid-back quality here. That’s part of the charm. Everything is short, sweet, and simple.” Is this music?
"Fronted by a Caledonian Lowell George, giving it all from his sandalled feet to his hirsute head, they ripped through some gems.” Americana UK
One of the winner's of the prestigious Burnsong songwriting project and hollering beardy both solo and with The Scattered Family - a broad musical collective of patient, long suffering musicians. I've shared a bill with lots of lovely people including The Beautiful South, Seasick Steve, Ian McNabb, Angus & Julia Stone, Francis Macdonald, Horse, Kim Edgar, James Yorkston, Martin Stephenson and Karine Polwart. And have played at the likes of King Tuts, Celtic Connections at the Royal Glasgow Concert Hall , The Sidewalk Cafe in New York, Belladrum Fringe, Loch Lomond Folk Festival, The Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Barrowlands, The Queens Hall, Cabaret Voltaire and so on. I've recently finished recording my second album which will be out and about soon.

'It's the waiting that I can't stand, carruthers.' Where has the most anticipated album of 2009 gotten to? Is it now to be the most anticipated album of 2010? Love and punches, Acidbath.
Mister Tucker: It is alarming that months have gone by since my last peek into your beardy realm. I am stunned anew at "ROADS":. A bloody signature song...rejoice! Marshall
You've got a terrific voice. I'm amazed at the great musicians I find on my doorstep... mind you the Scottish Borders is a big if somewhat sparsely populated doorstep. Nonetheless it helps make me feel that I am not quite in the middle of the Kalahari.
Thanks for the add and thanks for listening to my stuff. I appreciate your kind words mate.
Well done you for your success in the Burnsong! The songwriting gathering sounds great, I'm sure your voice will blow them away.
I'm all about the shameless self promotion at the moment. Got the design from the company that did my business cards. Kinda appropriate in my humble opinion. Either that or I am delusional.
Hiya, I saw your wee light on and thought I'd say hi ... how are you doing? Also, just on the off chance you are through in Glasgow on Saturday ... should be a good night ... and all for charidee ...x
I'm off on the Thursday and Friday but I stopped drinking and smoking 3 months ago, so no sore heid for me (unless I decide to go rock n roll again for 3 nights on the bounce!). Never played Cabaret Voltaire before. Heard it's a good un.
