About The Science of Sleep (THE WORLD AWAITS, DEC 19TH!)
This band is a work in progress...
Founded by people who want to make music they'd listen to for pleasure rather than what they think they should be writing, The Science Of Sleep hopes to bring the proverbial "smile to your face". If you're not having a good time, we seek to fix that. Music in itself, is the strongest form of escapism known to man. It evicts emotions that may otherwise stay dormant within us all. It is the universal language that few speak yet all understand. It is the aid that helps us through the days of our lives and as a band our goal is to provide that aide. If we can make that connection with you.......if our music is that which you enjoy.......then we've succeeded. If not, that's okay. You'll have your own way. However, this is what aides us. This is what keeps us going. Though we may not know our destination, its always nice to have help along the way.
You should add our banner. That would be awesome. :D Just copy the code in the box below and paste it in your profile or wherever else it works.

dood i miss you guys ive been out of town for a while but coming back you guys are one thing i looked forward too seeing. You guys blew up quick man just like me and turner said you would from the first show and im so glad to see some bros get far. TSOS are my bros keep up the good work. ill be at your next show no matter wat even if i have to fight off 100 bears with no hands lol.XD
:D That's awesome too. I can see how a movie theater with one screen would do some hard failing. I think it's good that it turned into a venue instead.
I'm planning on majoring in performance and composition, with guitar/cello as my primary instrument (preferably guitar, but I can play the cello almost as effeciently, and I'm sure it'd be a lot easier to get in for cello initially). Hah yeah, it's expensive as fuuuuck, but from what I've heard and seen, it'd be totally worth it.
Gotchazz.. Well, let me know when you have everything sorted out n' all, because I'm really excited to get a copy of it XD
That actually works as a perfect transition into the next matter I wanted to discuss :D
I'm looking to do split tracks with a handful of talented electronic bands and metal bands in hopes to make a compilation that will: A. expose my listeners to a bunch of talented musicians that they may otherwise had never known; B. augment my fanbase by exposing myself to a group of listeners that like electronic music.
Hopefully this will help bring enough attention form me to carry out my plan of doing a few out of state gigs over the summer; and if not, at least bring me closer to doing so.
Soooo... If you hadn't guessed, I wanted to know if you'd be interested in doing a split track together O_o
Hah indeed. New programs, new songs, new sound, new damn well near everything!
I'm good dude.... Just tryin' to get the Watabou name out there, workin on a bit of music. Some dance stuff and christmas stuff especially. I've also been working on my college application to Berklee. I know several people who've gotten in, and actually discussed admission to an extent with someone representing the administration at Berklee, so that's always good news. Though I really have expectations of getting in this year, I just want to more or less grow accustomed to the whole live audition process so that next year, I'll be ready in every imaginable aspect ^_^
How've you guys been though? I see you have an EP release show comin' up. I'm gonna have to purchase that in some fashion or another :D
