The Scrap*py Mar*ket*er: 1) one who addresses marketing challenges agressively and with determination, 2) a marketing professional with a spunky and spirited communication style, 3) Angie Pedersen, scrapbooking industry insider - dedicated to creating unique marketing solutions through the written word.
I offer promotional writing services through Scrappy Marketing Solutions, a niche marketing agency dedicated to helping small businesses get noticed. Not to make too big a deal of it, but I am known as a pioneer in the scrapbooking community -- I've been providing inspiration and informational resources for over six years.
I get completely geeked out by all things “new media”, proven by my two award-winning websites, four blogs, and podcast.
That geeky interest led to one of my current gigs, writing the Digital Dimension column for Memorytrends magazine. I also do freelance writing for other consumer and trade craft magazines, such as Craftrends, Memory Makers, and (the now defunct) Scrapbook Answers.
I started scrapbooking in 1997. I was so proud of my first page, which featured photos cut into several imaginative shapes, as well as several decorative edges. My pages have vastly improved, and has since appeared in eight nationally recognized magazines.
I am also the best-selling author of...

I grew up in Kansas City, and live there now with my husband and two children. Once I gets rich and famous, I’ll hire an assistant, a maid, and a masseuse, but until then, I do all my own cooking, dishes, and endless sibling refereeing.
I am more than available for interviews and as an expert resource on scrapbooking, and blogging.
