About The Scraps

Basically, the band started up in 2003. It was Marty and Joe both playing guitar. Marty stayed on guitar and Joe took up the drums. First, the band was called The Gents. The idea was to get a real band going so a singer was found, his name was Mulch. Andrew came on to play bass. Mulch moved to Florida so Marty took over vocal duties. Andrew got the boot 'cuz he never showed up for practice. In between we had other bass players. Tommy came on and played for a while...this was the lineup for the "Hate You" CD. He left in 2006. By this time, Joe went to play drums for the Sinner's Plea so we had Alex take up the kit. Chet Cuff was up next on bass. Alex ended up going to school so we got Justin from the Fisticuffs to play drums. Chet left and we got Pete Metalhead from Monstruo to play bass for us. Since then the lineup has been the same. We just finished our new record called "Therapy For Retards". You can pick a copy up at a show or just message here on Myspace.
