Hi, I'm Megan! I am an art major at the Peck School of the Arts at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, concentrating in Painting and Drawing. I plan on having a career as a graphic designer or illustrator someday. I’ve also taken German for six years, so I speak it fairly well. I am currently learning Irish Gaelic. I love everything vintage from clothing to hair and make-up styles to advertisements, and it is my dream to one day own a classic ‘50s or ‘60s car. I love body modification and currently have a full backpiece in progress as well as five piercings. As far as college life goes, I live on campus during the week and come home to Menomonee Falls on the weekends. One day I hope to move to Europe, or at least away from the Milwaukee area because everything happens in Chicago and skips coming here.

As far as my personality goes, I'm a total Virgo: shy, overly-polite, witty, a perfectionist and a bit of neat freak. I'm also a Democrat and a vegetarian. I'm generally a nice person, but I am very opinionated. I am very accepting of others as long as they respect my beliefs in return. Even though I'm serious about a lot of things, I rarely take myself seriously. I don't believe in political correctness, and it doesn't take much to make me laugh.

Music is the most important thing in my life. I mainly listen to various types of rock n' roll, and I’m very partial to Viking/folk metal, melodic death metal, power metal, thrash metal, classic rock, Celtic, rockabilly, psychobilly, post-punk, punk rock, and new wave. I also enjoy Baroque and Classical music, as I played flute for seven years. I have been playing guitar for six years and have taken private lessons for four, but unfortunately, I don't have much time these days for making music of my own as my artwork comes first.
