We Need Help! Remember Sugar? The sweet abandoned baby with two babies of her own? We are still trying to find a home for her - though we have one that is a possibility, if we can get her well. She is very ill and has gotten the other dogs in the foster home ill as well. The current foster home for her has 6 total dogs and 5 are sick. The vet expenses and expenses of supplies are more than the foster bargained for as this is her first foray into rescue. Sugar has already been to the vet twice - she has received antibiotics and steroids which seem to help temporarily but not as much as we would hope, in the long run, the vet thinks it is pneumonia. Without help with finances she cannot keep taking her to the vet every few days as it is not cheap and the foster is on a fixed income for the physically disabled. Anything that you could contribute would help greatly and is going to insure these dogs get the medical treatment, spay/nueter and supplies they need before getting new homes. Even if you can only afford a dollar that is still more than she currently has and by passing this on in a bulletin and getting your friends/family to donate as well I know we can get these babies the continued care they need. .. I am very very sorry to announce that we heard from the rescue that took in Sugars puppies. One of the pups died a few days ago due to distemper. This candle shines brightly for her. May she play happily over the Rainbow Bridge.
