The Seas new album Let's Fake It is done and available for purchase starting March 28th. Also, be on the lookout for upcoming shows in Austin and nearby cities.
The Austin-based band released a four-song EP in 2006, featuring uppity pop songs like "Little Girl" and "Rita Lee." Their music is "street." If you're not sure what that means, come to one of our shows.
The Seas are: unhip but enjoy style...embrace the future but scavenge the past...dress up and dress down. Really rather contradictory group of nitwits, actually.
The sound is: Juju charms and slippery neo-soul vocals. Heavy beats and slinky treats. Unadulterated pop. A mutty mix of styles and philosophies.
For booking requests, please contact us at info@theseas.net. To keep informed of shows in your area and other notable events, email us with the subject MAILING LIST and include the city you live in.
You can also download mp3s from Amazon.com, iTunes, and other online retailers such as Lala, Napster, Tradebit, and Didiom.
