WHILST MIDDLE AMERICA GLUTTED IT'S GUTS WITH MC DONALDS FAST FOOD AND BOASTERED IN REMINISCENCE OVER PRIME TIME EPISODES OF "HAPPY DAYS", THE FIRST TIER OF POST MODERN SOCIAL ANGST CRASHED THE BRUNT OF ESTABLISHMENT RESENTMENT. THE ARTISTIC CULTURE IN NEW YORK AND LOS ANGELES REDEFINED THE CIVIL UN-REST OF THE SIXTIES, WHILE THE BRITISH YOUTH VOWED TO RESIST THE ORDER OF A MONARCHY. "PURE HELL" BEGAN WITH SPIDER, PRESTON MORRIS AND STINKER AS A TRIO OF GUITAR, BASS AND DRUMS, UNDER THE FADING STARDUST MONIKER OF "PRETTY POISON" DURING 1974. WITH THE ADDITION OF LENNY STEEL (AS STINKER FORWARDED TO MAIN VOCALIST) DESTINY SOON SENT THEM TO NEW YORK. NOW MORE APPROPRIATELY KNOWN AS "PURE HELL" WHERE SPIDER WOULD FILL IN ON DRUMS FOR THE "NEW YORK DOLLS" AS THEY SHARPLY GAINED MOMENTUM FOR THEY'RE DEBUT EUROPEAN TOUR.     Punk band from Philly, released one SUPER Punk single in 1978. The B side original track, "NO RULES," is real FAST like the RAMONES, with a sing-a-long approach by the band- similiar to say U.K. SUBS "STRANGELHOLD" but a HELL of a lot better!........This is perfect punk .., hard and fast yet with a bit of melody in the vocals....... KENNY (STINKER) GORDON sings..... "NO RULES TODAY NO CLASS, TONITE YOUR GOING OUT IN MASQUERADE, THERE's SOMETHING TO.............." ( chorus ) "NO RULES, NO RULES FOR U AND ME" ........"NO RULES FOR U LITTLE GIRL, ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN" ..........guitar jams at the end. .. "THESE BOOTS ARE MADE FOR WALKIN" on the A side, & the UK single, is campy punk with glam roots; handclaps with maniacal laughter....."You keep saying you've got something for me, something you call love, but confess, You've been messin' where you shouldn't have been a messin', and now someone else is gettin' all your best, These boots are made for walking, and that's just what they'll do, one of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you" Yes, this is a NANCY SINATRA cover, it's good, but "NO RULES" is much better! ..(Literature Contributed by Avery).. ......     The Bristles new album Reflections of the Bourgeois Society is out 21 MAY! 11 raw punk tracks from the class war and the worst capitalist crisis ever. Banks, yellow unions, employers and many more, all of them receives one's due.

    The Swedish band The Bristles reunited in 2008. The band has since then released records with their old stuff and one EP with new material, Union Bashing State in 2009. The band has also during this time toured around northern Europe several times.
