The Secret Handsnakes formed out of boredom and frustration. All three members had played in various punk and rock bands over the years, but finding themselves in a state of limbo, they felt like they were growing stagnant. They were also looking for something new. A band that wasn't afraid to be a little ridiculous and different and still had that punk rock, go for the throat attitude that they all longed for. Clicking instantly in regards to their ideals and musical tastes, The Secret Handsnake quickly found themselves playing with bands they had always cited as influences. Over a year later and they are still taking Toronto by storm...they might not fit in to any preconcived notions of genre, but that's OK, they are the scene.
