SECRETS WAS FOUNDED BY JAMES HOLMES THE DRUMMER AND THE LATE MR. THOMAS LANCE BOTH OF THE INTERNATIONAL LONGSHOREMAN LOCAL 1422 OF CHARLESTON S.C. BACK IN 1996. WE BEGAN WITH FOUR GUYS AND ONE FEMALE FOR ABOUT TWO YEARS IN NORTH CHARLESTON AT ARTUR'S DINER EVERY FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NITE...
WE WORKED HARD DOING OUR OWN PRODUCTIONS FOR THE NEXT THREE YEARS WHICH PAYED OFF WHEN WE CROSSED OVER TO WORKING DOWNTOWN CHARLESTON IN THE CLUBS AND VENUES.

WE;VE DONE AN ASS OFF WEDDING RECEPTIONS UP AND DOWN THE EAST COAST.
BEEN AS FAR AS TO NAN TUCKET, MASS. TO THE FLORIDA KEYS AND LOOKING AND WILLING TO GO FARTHER IN THE FUTURE.
Our music is one of a kind. and we have the facts to prove it. We were voted best house band in Charleston 2 years in a row. Also, when we finished recording our demo cd in the summer/fall of 2000 and released it to the public; Our song "Whatever It Takes" was voted best song in the Millenium Music Choice Awards.
WE WILL BE RELEASING A BRAND NEW DEMO OF OUR UP COMING CD IN 2009 SOON SO KEEP AND EAR OUT.
WE HAVE NOW SINCE THAN UP GRADED THE BAND WITH TWO OTHER GREAT MUSICIANS MR. TONY< HIRRICAN >COBIN ON BASS AND MR. BOBBY SIMMONS ON GUITAR WHO REPLACES DOUG WALTERS WHO WENT SOLO IN 2008 GOOD LUCK TO HIM.
Looking back on our accomplishments, we strive to keep going musically. We have been complimented highly by so many different musicians; that we have been able to open up shows for groups like: Main Ingredients, Cool and The Gang, Barkays, Head Hunters, and Fred Weasley (the sax player for James Brown).
